Art Journaling Page - Who You Really Are

Last week I managed to take some time out to get messy and do another art journaling page for a friend.
I really got into using some of the Liquid Pearls (Duncan Brand) and metallic acrylic paints (DecoArt) I had acquired a while ago, but not fully used yet. What fun they are in all their shimmering goodness! I love how versatile they are in their application too!
Just like regular acrylic paints, you can apply them in a variety of ways, but the creamy shimmering, is all in a league of it’s own! I see a lot more liquid pearls/ metallic acrylics in my future!

The only downside, as always, to anything shimmering is that it renders the page as very hard to photograph or scan as the reflection always seems to distort parts of the page!

Lately, I've also been so inspired by Dianne Duda's fabulous girls and I find quite a few dudadaze-like girls coming to visit in a few of my pages - this one is no exception!

I particularly liked using the shimmering paint to highlight some of the texture I had going on the page!

Have you created anything fun with Shimmering Pearls / Dazzling Metallics lately?
